This shore match got off to a slow start with a couple of Flounders falling to Frank and Shane at the start.
The day started off warm till the Sun started to go down then there was a chill in the wind.
As the tide turned the fish started to appear.
1st J Wilson with 7 fish for 212pts.
2nd S Wilson with 7 fish for 203pts.
3rd F Spiers with 4 fish for 130pts.
4th J Nelson with 3 fish for 93pts.
Shore match 10/3/22
When arriving at Gourock the tide was not in which meant we would have to fish on the beach.
As one of the members could not get onto the beach we decided to move the match to Greenock for easy access to allow Malky to fish the event.
The match turned out to be a micro cod session in between pulling in lost lines from other anglers.
Jamie Nelson caught a nice Dragonet which would have been a new club record but unfortunately no one had digital scales with them as all fish are now measured.

2nd J Wilson with 2 fish for 55pts.
3rd T Magorian with 1 fish for 27pts.

Port Patrick 22/04/22
The match started off with a few fish getting caught in the first hour as the tide started to rise. From then on F lounders, plaice and coalies were caught.

3rd Jamie with 2 fish for 74pts
4th Frank with 2 fish for 63pts
5th Ryan with 2 fish for 60pts

Shore match 4th June
This shore match did not fair well with the winds gusting and the water being clear. Fishing with fresh peeler crab could not tempt any fish. There were other anglers fishing and a boat was out in front off us. They did not have any joy either.
Frank did manage to land a fish for all his efforts. We will be back later on as it could be a bit early.

Summer league Shore match 14th June
The first summer league match was fished over three hours fishing at Irvine and first into the fish was Tony landing a flounder and 20 mins later landed another flounder. John landed a flounder next followed by Iain. As the tide started to rise the surface weed started to catch on some members line.

This match went well with a nice surf running and th he water being coloured made it good for a few fish being caught in the match.

Summer league Shore match 12th July
This match was fished at the ballast bank. You had to fish through the small wrasse at 15 - 19cms to catch some bigger ones. Iain caught a nice 3 bearded rockling and Shane a tompot blenny to add to their species hunt.

The shore match turned into a good day with the forecast being terrible. Expecting wind and rain when we got there instead the Sun was shining.

Summer league Shore match 14th September
The summer league match went well with a few fish being caught in the match and a unexpected meteor going across the sky. Tony had a surprise catch of a small turbot.

The shore match went well with a little bit of weed being caught on the lines as the tide rose. Plenty of nice flounders being caught and some small coding and coalies.

This match was the last match of the summer league. The sea was rough when we arrived there and the wind conditions became stronger with a few rain showers. A few fish were caught in the match.
