Riverside Dundee

The first shore match was held at riverside Dundee and when we arrived there the wind was blowing a bit in gusts which made the sea a bit rough and coloured. First couple of casts produced a couple of small flounders and codling. As the tide rose a few more small fish were being caught but added to your species hunt. A few hours later some welcomed sized flounders were being caught.

The results are as follows

1st J Wilson with 7 fish for 197pts

2nd F Speirs with 4 fish for 107pts

3rd I Grant with 2 fish for 58pts

Fishing into darkness sized fish were being caught inbetween the pin whitting grabing the bait. Species caught were Plaice, Flounders, Coddling and whitting good for the species hunt too.

Loch Etive

This match was fished 3 hours down and 4 hours back up which was a good call with plenty of small spurs holding onto the bait but letting go near the waters edge. Later on the bigger spurs appeared. In total 7 spurs landed and 1 thornback.
