The first match of the year did not get off to a good start. Only a few fish were caught as the results will show.
1st J Wilson with 2 fish for 121pts.
2nd S Wilson with 1 fish for 69pts.
The 3 hour shore match last night did not go any better as the guys fished through the rain showers and wind with only one fish being caught.
1st J Wilson with 1 fish for 37pts
This shore match was fished in calm weather. The fish took a little time to appear but the small fish kept you busy till you had a chance at some bigger ones.
1st S Wilson with 11 fish for 361pts
2nd J Wilson with 8 fish for 247pts
A few species were also added to the species hunt.
The last couple of shore matches have not produced any fish except small ones which goes towards the species hunt the conditions have been spot on dont know whats going on with the local venues. Lets hope it picks up soon.
This match was a better one for a change as the results will show. Shane could do no wrong with fish after fish being landed.There were a mixed bag of fish some small and some decent. The best fish was a Pollack of 43cms and a coalie of 43cms. Lost a few at the edge of the water and a nice ballan wrasse at least 2lbs.

This match was fished over 3 hours as it was a hard match with lots of weed in the water so well done guys for fishing throu the weed. Not many sized fish about just some under sized ones. the local matches do not seem to be fishing well compaired to last year. I fished with fresh ragworm just dug off the beach and crab and manged 2 flounders 1 sized and one undersized.
